How do I change the App ID of my add-on?

I am working on a Splunk add-on. I need to change the name of its root folder. However, when I attempt to upload my add-on to Splunkbase, it tells me that the name of the root folder must match the add-on's app ID. How do I change the app ID?

Hello,

Changing of your submission's app ID is not supported. If you need to change the name of your root folder, you'll need to resubmit your add-on through Splunkbase.
