How To Troubleshoot "No Results Found" in Splunk App for Jenkins

I'm currently running jenkins 2.73.2 with Splunk Plugin 1.6.1 sending data to a single Splunk instance running 7.0.0 with a dev license. I've verified the connection to Splunk in the Jenkins configuration page and can see some events coming across by searching in splunk using the query index=jenkins*. Unfortunately all the dashboards in the Splunk App for Jenkins are blank and say "No Results Found". I have added no Custom Metadata in the Jenkins configuration and am not sure what to look at to troubleshoot next. Can anyone point me towards what I can verify or look at to help remedy this situation?

Thanks!

please run a test pipeline job like:

node("master"){
    writeFile file:"test-results.xml", text:'''<?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8"?>
<testsuite errors="0" failures="0" name="pytest" skips="1" tests="29" time="134.183">
<testcase classname="santiycheck" file="test_body.py" line="201" name="test_name" time="133.901971102"/>
</testsuite>
'''
    junit "test-results.xml"
}

then search index=jenkins* santiycheck
