I need to hide "Settings" in splunk bar on a given App and for a given role. Any suggestions? TIA.
What are you trying to achieve? Hiding the UI doesn't take away anything the user can still do via the API.
Instead, I'd recommend first setting your users' roles' permissions correctly, and second educating your users.
