Have you considered a version of this app (a subset of capabilities) that would work on Splunk Cloud?

I've no idea how much of this app you would be able to retain if you trimmed it to be compatible with Splunk Cloud, but I sure would love to know. If nothing else, I'd love to have the btool piece.

That's a great idea that would be helpful for many people.

I have just taken a look at the extra requirements here: http://dev.splunk.com/view/app-cert/SP-CAAAE85 and it seems like a file viewer and btool only version would probably be acceptable.

This will probably not take long to make so I will add it to my backlog. I think I will probably be complete in about 2-4 weeks.

OK Bad news, Upon closer inspection here: https://dev.splunk.com/view/app-cert/SP-CAAAE85#failures it turns out that calling btool is explicitly not allowed on Splunk cloud 😞
