Geckodriver (Firefox) not working through inputs.conf

Hi,

I'm using Ubuntu Linux 18.04, with Splunk 7.1 with Splunk Synthetic App

I've made a Python testscrip that uses the geckodriver [webdriver.Firefox()] and created the bash script as per the instructions.
While the bash script runs perfectly fine whenever I launch it myself, whenever it's launched by Splunk through inputs.conf nothing happens.

I use the exact same script with chromedriver and it works.

I use geckodriver 20.1 with Firefox 59.0.3
