Does cloning the Splunk Add-on for Box support multiple realms/domains?

Hi Guys,

My company has a new subsidiary which is using another domain name. Both are using Box to store our files which means different storage domains.

Since we are currently using Splunk Add-on for Box to gather users logs in our actual Splunk Enterprise server, I also want to forward the Box logs of the new subsidiary.

So far I tried to install the Splunk Add-on for Box another time to start configuring it with the new company domain but I get an error saying that the app is currently installed.

I'm figuring out a way to reinstall the add-on to work in parallel with the existing one and I have no clue how to do it.

Is it possible to modify the Splunk Add-on for Box's source code in order to do so? If so, what are the code parts I need to change?

You cant have two apps with same app id and renaming the box app id can break things.
I would suggest to install it on a seperate HFW and configure from there until we come up with multiple account support in this add-on
