Does anyone have suggestions for any Cisco Firepower use cases for Splunk that are not already available?

I am just starting out with Splunk and trying to figure out what benefits there are for creating dashboards and events in Splunk for Cisco firepower. Firepower software seems to have a lot of reporting tools available. What advantages are there to recreating the dashboards in Splunk?

Does anyone have suggestions for any use cases that are not already available in firepower?
