One of the options to monitor the CPU health of Palo Alto devices is through SNMP polling. Our product, NetFlow Optimizer (NFO), has a built-in SNMP polling capability: you can configure polling time interval for any OID. NFO will do the polling, convert SNMP information into Splunk CIM compliant syslog or JSON, and send it to Splunk for visualization and alerting.

If you’d like to try it or have any questions, please don’t hesitate to reach out (trials@netflowlogic.com) and we’ll be happy to help you.
