Connection timed out web monitoring with a site up

Hi,

I'm using the Web Monitoring application and now I have a URL that I'm sure that is responding but the response in the application is Connection timed out and the URL respond in 4 or 5 seconds

How can I diagnostic what is happening?

Here are few things you might want to look into or consider:

1. Is there any other evidence that the host might have struggled to get a network connection? This would help determine if the host's connection did indeed struggle.
2. Did other URLs continue to work while the connection failed? I'm trying to figure out if the issue is limited to a particular host or URL.
3. What does the resource usage look like on the host running the inputs? If the host is struggling to get enough CPU time, then it might produce false positive failures.

I found that a firewall was blocking my splunk IP.
