Hello Community,

I am trying to connect to SAP database via DB connect (3.4.2) and Splunk version is 8.0.0. Can anyone please suggest the right approach and configuration about how to connect to SAP database. I have already tried and referred to below links but still not able to proceed with these solutions

Thanks

Just use PowerConnect! It uses native API calls to the kernel to extract DB and OS layer information on top of 300 out of the box extractors for SAP monitoring and security data.

Which version of SAP and Java (on the Splunk server) are you attempting to connect to, and is it supported by DB Connect? See the list of supported JDBC drivers in the links you listed.

Under the hood, DB Connect uses wrapper classes for the JDBC drivers it supports. I believe there's a generic wrapper as well, but it only works with drivers implemented in a specific way.
