Connect_ping to test port even if Ping fails in TA-connectivity

Hey,

we are looking at TA-Connectivity to replace a very basic monitoring tool which simply pings and checks ports, exactly what this TA does.

one issue i am having is that some appliances we have do not respond to ping but are listening on a port.

Is there any way to have this TA check the port even if the ping fails or even just check the port? at the moment it seems it skips the port check if the device does not respond to a ping.

Yup, we experiencing the same issues as well, not using on system, so without any OS buts its IP printer.
