Any plans to make the Splunk App for Unix and Linux 8.0.1 compatible?

I really don't want to change our whole infrastructure and the many dashboards we have built over the years - so going to the App For Infrastructure is a last case option for us. Are there any plans to give us a working version of Splunk App for Unix and Linux 8.0.1?
