how to display the list of the alerts using a search

I have alerts, they are displayed in the UI in the "alerts" header.
I know how to get the alert events in /var/log/splunk/scheduler.log

But now I would like to create a dashboard on those alerts, how can I retrieve the alert list, status and eventually the link to the results.

Is there a way using a search ,or a REST point ?
