Is there a way to add a panel or button that allows users to create saved searches and alerts from an HTML dashboard?

I have a customized HTML dashboard which allows user to create a search from drop-downs. Is there a way to add a button/panel that allows user to create an alert/saved search out of it?

No, as far as I know, there is no way to do that.

I am using "Searchcontrols" module in advanced XML for create alert panel and it works. I am looking for parallel solution in SImple XML/HTML
