Is it possible to make text bold in the message body of email alerts?

I'm trying to make certain parts of the message body bold in the Splunk email alerts, but can't figure it out. I have everything in the message body that I want to see, but I want to see certain things in bold.

Say the email body contains:
Action: $result.action$

I want to make "Action:" bold. Like:
Action: $result.action$

You can modify sendemail.py to allow HTML, replace {msg|h} with {msg} and remember to re-do that on every upgrade of Splunk.
