How can I show/display triggered alerts from search and reporting app to show up on the Messages tab as bulletin messages at the top of Splunk Web?

I have a couple alerts that are running in Splunk and I cant always be checking on my email when I am working in Splunk. Is there a way to get the triggered alerts to show up in the message tab with Splunk 6.4?
