I have installed every lib functions , perl scripts on one of the linux servers decalred env variable as well but still can not get the nmon performance data for cpu and memory on the server. Could any one assist or help on this topic also didnt find any relevant error in splunkd.logs.

I have created one linux uptime or reboot alert if the server gets rebooted it will trigger the alert if the uptime<=600 secs . Now , I have one server where the uptime value is 0sec It has created an alert but the server was up from 90 days as per Splunk logs. The data directly comes from the server there is no script inlined.

I have created one linux uptime or reboot alert if the server gets rebooted it will trigger the alert if the uptime<=600 secs . Now , I have one server where the uptime value is 0sec, and then after 5mins the uptime data changes to 300 and again after 5 mins it changed to 600 secs. It was suppose to throw an alert but it didnt where as the alert only took the data of the first uptime value of the server which is 0 secs. The data directly comes from the server there is no script inline.

Yes, those are done still facing issue where as to add in there are distributed environment where different Servers are hosted to different cloud platform and each cloud platform has a DB app configured on it . So, other cloud platforms we are not facing the issues we are specifically facing issues here. Could it be the DB servers versions not matching the Splunk DB version ? Current Splunk DB version is 3.4.2

There are certain datalabs which are created on a specific server when we run/execute those SQL queries its executing with proper data but the moment we are checking the indexing of that server like, index=dbconnect there are 0 events on the server. Can it be a server issue somehow?

In Splunk db connect some specific data labs are not indexing properly to Splunk means not forwarding its data to Splunk search head from the databases where as those databases are executing fine what could be the issue is it on server or on Splunk?
