SplunkTrust membership is awarded based on user contributions to the Splunk community through Splunk Answers, Splunk Community Slack, speaking at Splunk and industry events, and participating in other Splunk Community opportunities.

SplunkTrust Application Qualifications
- Must be a Splunk Customer or Partner
- Is kind, considerate, and follows the Splunk Community Guidelines
- Must be actively involved year-round in at least one of the following areas:
Splunk Answers
- Responds/provides solutions
- Extra consideration to official Splunk Answers Community Moderators
Splunk Community Slack
- Responds to and helps users navigate Splunk and answer product questions and directs users to resources

Splunk User Groups
- Leads an official and active Splunk User Group or
- Guest speaker at multiple Splunk User Group events
Other considerations: User Group local team (i.e. sources venues, checks in attendees, promotes chapter/events, etc. but is not officially on leadership team)
Consideration also goes to those who assist the Splunk Community in other ways - speak at industry events, mentoring individuals, participating in Customer Advisory Boards, etc. (Please retain links to event pages and resources to cite in application/nomination form.)
SplunkTrust membership is available to Splunk customers and partners only. New members are inducted each year at Splunk .conf., where new and returning members are also awarded and recognized.
SplunkTrust Membership
Once you’re in the SplunkTrust, your work is not done! Remember, selection happens annually, so it’s important to stay active in the Splunk Community all year long.
Benefits and requirements of SplunkTrust:
- Complimentary .conf pass
- Splunk education credits
- Behind-the-scenes access to Splunk products news and announcements
- Provide feedback to internal Splunk teams
- Opportunities to engage in external Splunk advocacy
Splunk MVP
Splunk MVPs are automatically selected and notified; there’s no need to apply! MVPs are highly involved in the Splunk Community, although not as active as the SplunkTrust. Once in the program, MVPs will have exclusive access to the SplunkTrust, special sessions, and more. With increased engagement, MVPs can be on track to eventually be selected for SplunkTrust.
