Splunk SOAR (f.k.a. Phantom)

Phantom warm standby script username/password authentication

- Would you consider it a best practice to type a password into a prompt from a 3rd party script?

- What if the 3rd party script is complied and no source code is available for the script?

If your response is "No" to the above question(s), please consider an up vote for the "Idea" at https://ideas.splunk.com/ideas/PPSID-I-307 . The "Idea" is a request for Splunk to officially support ssh key authentication for the Splunk Phantom warm standby script (i.e. do not prompt for the password of the OS username that is running Phantom).
