Compatibility issue of splunk indexed data ( bucket)

Hi,

I have some old splunk indexed data ( splunk buckets ) in version 6.6.

Can I just copy them to another splunk server, which is version 8.2?

Is there will be any issue of compatibility?

so, i assume, you have two splunk environments.. one running 6.6 Splunk and another running on 8.2 Splunk..

is that correct..

thanks and best regards,
Sekar
