Getting an error on Master Server while adding indexer peers. It says "Peer with server name=xyz already exists"

In a virtual server environment I am getting this error at master server saying that cannot add peer as same indexer name already exists.

All the servers are ubuntu hosts and so Indexers, sercher, UF and Depserver all are nammed as "ubuntu".

Can some one please letme know from where in Splunk setting can change the server name and add all 3 indexers in the Depolyment Server.

Hello All,

I got an answer to this question. editing the server.conf we can get this above issue resolved. if this is not possible handy we can change the hostname file in /etc folder on the server and take a server restart all the machines will have different name and we can add all the IDXs in a cluster with Master Server.
