VMWare Carbon Black Cloud - which one is needed on indexers?

We need to collect VMWare Carbon Black Cloud events to Splunk (Cloud)

We use this app https://splunkbase.splunk.com/app/5332 on heavy forwarder to configure inputs.

If we have a distributed environment, is this app (5332) also needed on the indexers?

The release note mentions this app https://splunkbase.splunk.com/app/5334 for the indexers but its own details point back to the 5332 app.

So, could someone please tell me which one is needed where?

thank you,

Carbon Black's deployment guide (https://developer.carbonblack.com/reference/carbon-black-cloud/integrations/splunk-app/#deployment-g...) appears to offer good guidance on the subject.  Take particular note of these statements

Warning: Installing the VMware Carbon Black Cloud Technology Add-on (TA) or Input Add-on (IA) on the same node as the App is an unsupported configuration that may result in instability or errors.
As of January 31st, 2022 the APIs supporting the Splunk 7.x apps will be decommissioned causing some features to no longer function. The Splunk 7.x apps are no longer supported and have been archived. Migrate to the VMware Carbon Black Cloud App for Splunk (https://splunkbase.splunk.com/app/5332).
