How to create individual account in Linux ?

Hi,

I'm logged as root user, How do I log in to individual account in Linux

below is the error message 

Please login with individual user account, direct root account login sessions will be recorded and audited.

Hi @AL3Z,

this doesn't seem to be a Splunk message, it seems a CyberArk (or another PAM system) message.

I don't think that you can find the solution here.

which Splunk Server are you trying to access?

My need is like to re -create a tar balls, i'm trying to copy the .tgz file from windows to linux for that i need an account instead of root in splunk hf is what I have got the only access of linux in my system.

Hi @AL3Z,

what tool are you using?

I use MobaXTerm that gives me both an SSH terminal and a WinScp session.

So I upload the file with the winscp function, the I change the owner from the account I used to splunk or root and the I copied it in the Splunk folder.
