Hi everyone,

KV Store changed status to failed. KVStore process terminated..

KV Store process terminated abnormally (exit code 2, status PID 68203 exited with code 2). See mongod.log and splunkd.log for details.

Does anyone know how can i solve it?

Hi Matheo
Can you post the mongod.log and splunkd.log?

As a side note, you should read the docs before upgrading Splunk.
https://docs.splunk.com/Documentation/Splunk/9.0.4/Installation/HowtoupgradeSplunk

v8.0.x should be upgraded to v8.1.x or V8.2.x before going to v9.0.x

------------
Hope I was able to help you. If so, some karma would be appreciated.

Hi @diogofgm and ty for your response,

I cant upload the logs because is not supported, and it happened yesterday so it a lot of information.

I didnt read about upgrade first to 8.2.X, that might be my error.

Anywise, can i fix it?

My two errors are these:

KV Store process terminated abnormally (exit code 14, status PID 59801 exited with code 14). See mongod.log and splunkd.log for details.

Failed to migrate KV Store storage engine to WiredTiger. This prevented running the latest version of KV Store. Migrate KV Store storage engine to WiredTiger and then upgrade KV Store. The Mmapv1 engine is deprecated

Regards.
