Universal Forwarder v6.2.3: Where have all the metrics gone?

We used to have reports we used to query to see data volume per sourcetype/index/host.

Example. /opt/splunkforwarder/var/log/metrics.log
05-31-2015 22:52:32.417 +0000 INFO Metrics - group=per_sourcetype_thruput, series="vmstat", kbps=0.679515, eps=4.131170, kb=41.450195, ev=252, avg_age=0.000000, max_age=0, interval_sec=60

In the UF 6.2.3 this no longer exists.

I know there is the new(er) introspection index where all newer internal logs are supposed to appear but none of our upgrade forwarders are sending data to it.

Anyone know where these metrics have been relocated to? In regards to forwarding capacity we're now flying blind 😞

There is another directory you appear to be missing, it is in:

/opt/splunkforwarder/var/log/splunk/metrics.log

Note the addition of "/splunk/" after ..../var/log
