I have a requirement where in I need to remove only the "before" option of time range picker's "date range" picker, Please let me know if this customisation is possible in css. No access to splunk directory system, only inline .css is allowable to me.
Any pointer is highly appreciable.
Best,

Hi
I believe this is answered here:

Hi
Thanks for the revert. Appreciate your gesture, but this allows only removing the primary options like date-range and Preset, not the sub options, like before, after or between.
Let me know If I am making my use case clear or not? and the pointers if you have any.
I see what you want. Can you clarify me your final goal here?
If you just remove the "before", and still allow the users to set a Data and Time range, then they would still be able to search old data. I'm missing the point
Hi, Sorry for the confusion. I am using token in my search with "between" and "since" range only. Now, If I say "since" in the option, It takes data from the selected date to now. Likewise, for betwen it takes the selected dates but if I say "before", It takes data from selected date to the last record. I want to suppress this option.
I guess, I am making a clearer picture now.
Best,
@tiagofbmm, Please let me know if the problem statement makes sense and any pointers on the same
Well I understand what you want to do but I really don't see what are you avoiding by this.
User will still be able to search past events by using the "Between". So if that was your goal, it won't work by suppressing the "Since".
If you think the users are searching too much data in their searches, the best solution is to actually teach them to narrow down their search window, because searching smaller and precise intervals gives best performance and makes sense not to get all the data in if they don't need it.
Here "education/training" is the key. Those time picker options are tools, you just need to make sure they use the tools in for the correct purpose and the proper manner.
