For the past four years, Splunk has partnered with Enterprise Strategy Group to conduct a survey that gauges the impact that Splunk has had on the careers and livelihoods of its users. This year, 500 members of our incredible Splunk community participated in our annual Career Impact Survey, confirming what we've already known since we began facilitating this report: Using Splunk, learning Splunk, and getting Splunk Certified pays off — literally!

The core takeaway from this year’s report is that despite the ever-changing and turbulent landscape that is working in tech, knowing Splunk users continue seeing career outcomes that improve markedly every single year.
The survey findings made it clear that a strong command over Splunk was seen to positively influence respondents’ career direction, compensation, and opportunities for advancement.
The research showed that expertise with Splunk leads to higher compensation, more portable skills, and increased career resilience. It also showed that Splunk Education resources are playing a greater role in upskilling users.
From increased job security to enhanced market competitiveness, Splunk's impact resonates deeply within the Splunk user community. The survey reaffirms our commitment to empowering professionals with the tools and knowledge necessary to thrive in a rapidly evolving digital landscape.
