Why doesn't my dashboard show up in the dashboard list on Splunk Mobile or Splunk TV?

A common question asked by our users of the new Splunk Mobile apps.

The dashboard list on both Splunk Mobile and Splunk TV will only show dashboards that are visible to the user associated with the device and visible by the Search and Reporting app. In general if you can see it in the dashboards list in Search and Reporting then it should be visible on the device.
