Social media monitoring

Hello All,I am looking for options to integrate social media platforms like twitter or facebook with splunk so that activities using the official handles of the customer can be monitored.

I wasnt able to find anything except some posts for twitter. I tried to follow them and create a REST api in splunk using the /developer.twitter.com portal. I created the client key and secret and oauth1 key and token. But I am not able to see any logs. Note that the Shs do not have access to open internet. Can anyone suggest any options that can be used for free.

Thanks in advance.

Hi

you need a access to those API which are on internet. This means that If you haven't have direct connection to them then you must use proxy. Another option is set up HF which have access to those and define modular input on that node.

Unfortunately currently there is no more free API for Twitter. FB probably have something. You need to look API description on FB side and follow that to get those messages.
