Security on ServiceNow addons for Splunk SaaS

My organisation is using Splunk SaaS and would like to integrate with ServiceNow using addons. In order to get security thumbs up i would like to know below:
1. Where the basic credentials of ServiceNow stored in Splunk Web UI, can someone edit it? Who has permission to view that password.

2. What TLS splunk SaaS uses to communicate with ServiceNow addons?
