In the Cisco Networks App Help tab, most of cisco commands shown there are for IOS. Anybody care to share the commands used for the NX-OS version, specifically for callhome?
I see the logs flowing in Splunk, but the app itself is not registering anything, so perhaps I have something wrong with the configuration in the switch with callhome.
Thank you!
Can you paste the CallHome output? Not sure how well it works with all devices.
I think Cisco only has two OS version for their switches, IOS and NX-OS. NX-OS runs all of the Cisco nexus family.
Today I started to see data showing in the Overview tab but the rest of the tabs can't find any results. I think the rest of the tabs get their data from the callhome feature. Here is what the commands look like in NX-OS. I havent been able to find the command to set the frequency.

I think you also need "feature callhome" or "feature call-home" globally to enable it.
If you can't set a schedule on this device the feature probably isn't of much use anyway.
Only the Devices view uses data from call-home. The rest are all syslog. You need a fair amount of devices with severity set correctly to get data in all views. Most of the extractions are for IOS devices, so don't expect all views populated if you only log from Nexuses
