[8.0.6] Issue with Monitoring console after upgrade to 8.0.6. None of the collection monitoring are working,

As described in the subject.  Most of panels in Overview against the older version instances which are yet to be upgraded to 8.0.6 are not populated correctly.  Resource Usage tab also shows many panels and information are broken too.

When I tried to run the same broken searches  seprately, it has error messages like,

[indexer01] Failed to fetch REST endpoint uri=https://127.0.0.1:8089/services/server/info?count=0&strict=false from server https://127.0.0.1:8089. Check that the URI path provided exists in the REST API

MC has downgraded to 8.0.4 and appears working fine without any issue.

Hi @sylim_splunk this looks like a known issue kind of thing. maybe this should be added(if not yet) to the release notes, with your solution as the workaround, so that whenever splunkers will upgrade they will resolve this issue by referring the release notes (as googling, at times, does not pick the right post).

The panels are broken if "| REST .." is used in the search that is not compatible with the older versions. Check the other article for more information.
