The AI Assistant usage dashboard in Cloud Monitoring Console (CMC) provides a unified view of AI Assistant prompt activity across your Splunk Cloud Platform deployment.  You can use this dashboard to Monitor prompt usage across all your Splunk AI Assistants, splitting the data by individual assistant, specific AI prompt skill, and users. Track activity and adoption trends over time to understand how users integrate AI assistants into your organization's workflows. Quickly identify top skills and users to understand areas of high value and potential training needs. AI assistants supported Splunk AI assistants are generative AI tools that let you interact with Splunk products and analyze data using natural language. It’s an exciting day here at Splunk – Splunk AI Assistant for SPL version 1.3.0 is now live with extended availability and added functionality!  Check out everything that’s changed and how you can start taking advantage of Splunk AI Assistant for SPL as a Splunk Enterprise or a Splunk Cloud Platform customer:   Introducing Splunk AI Assistant for SPL through a cloud-connected solution: Splunk AI Assistant for SPL via a cloud-connected solution is now available for on-prem customers! The preview period for Optimization in the AI Assistant for SPL is now live! Please reach out on the Splunk VOC page if you’re interested in trying it for yourself.   How to Get Started: For Splunk Enterprise customers, Splunk admins should follow these simple steps below to get started. There is a pre-download process and in-app onboarding flow:  Pre-download process:  Visit Splunkbase: Download the app from the app browser or directly from Splunkbase.  Customers will need to sign special legal terms covering data use. The link for the EULA is https://www.splunk.com/en_us/download/ai-assistant.html. The Splunkbase application will be unlocked by the AI team, and the customer will be sent an email to download the app. This process may take 72 hours to complete. Customers will then install the Splunk AI Assistant for SPL application from Splunkbase or in product. In-app onboarding process:  Once you install the Splunk AI Assistant for SPL application, the app launches an in-app onboarding flow:  The first screen offers FAQs on use cases, data requirements, and proxy settings. You will then add company and tenant details. The system generates a unique tenant code. Now you will email the tenant code to splunkai@splunk.com. Provisioning typically takes 2–3 business days. You will then receive an activation code sent to the email address provided. At this point, the AI team will have created a tenant for you. Simply add the activation code into the Splunk AI Assistant for SPL app. Optionally, you can configure a proxy server. If you are not using a proxy server then you will need to make firewall changes to reach your new cloud tenant.
