Hi, I have a SQL DB stored procedure that accepts a datetime input. The idea is to run this as a saved report daily and overwrite the output lookup table with results. The following works when I hardcode the date in the params field:  | dbxquery connection="MyDBConnection" query="{call MyStoredProc(?)}" params="2023-07-09" Now, I need to use a variable in the params field to pass the current date dynamically. | eval currentDate = strftime(now(), "%Y-%m-%d") | dbxquery connection="MyDBConnection" query="{call MyStoredProc(?)}" params=\"$currentDate$\" With the above I keep getting an error : om.microsoft.sqlserver.jdbc.SQLServerException: Error converting data type nvarchar to datetime2.   So how do I get the current date as a variable, and use it as an input parameter for a stored proc? Hi, currently I have scheduled alerts that are triggered based on file count results. If count of 'file x' for that day is 0, I send out an email alert for the missing file. However, I am having inaccurate alert messages whenever Splunk is not ingesting the logs from the target server. Instead of 'no logs ingested', it shows as if the file was missing. I currently have 2 separate saved searches. One is to check if the index is receiving logs, and next if for the file monitoring. How do I integrate these two so that the second one will not run when the first one comes back with 0 events? Thanks! ... View more

Hello! I've been trying to solve this problem for a couple days now but can't seem to figure it out. So basically I want get the total count received for "Field A" today, and get an average of "Field B" for the past week displayed in a single table/result. Field B is the time Field A was received. I will use this then to determine if Field A arrived on time today, but I also need the total count for other purposes. Example Desired Output Date    Field    Count   AvgTimeReceived TimeReceived   mm/dd/yy    "FieldA"    5       5:00:00              7:00:00 Where columns Date,Field,Count,TimeReceived are from today's events, and AvgTimeReceived is an average for the past 7 days.
