Have you tried replacing the space character with \s? <eval token="order_number_q">if($value$=="","","('"+replace(ltrim(rtrim($value$)),"\s+","','")+"') ")</eval> It's possible the space is getting borked somehow via XML.

No, the workaround remains in place
