Having the same issue after upgrading from 4.4.5 to 4.7.0. We just tried going from our broken 4.7.0 to 4.9.0 in hopes that we would get our service analyzer back, instead, we are now getting a license error and ITSI is non-functional. Not sure what happened after 4.4.5 and Splunk 8.1.5 but we are now down and non-operational.

Yeah exactly... I am using 4.4.0 ITSI where i am facing this issue if manually imported entities count is more than 100 count. So i just limited entries to 90 and then import was successful. This looks weird; Hope this would has resolved in latest versions.

We regularly perform patching activity on Windows servers under monitoring in Splunk where we have to initiate maintenance window for 300 to 400 servers on one go. We dont want to put entire service into maintenance which will affect monitoring on other Windows servers. We tried using REST API but it's not quite useful because start and end time in epoch, servers names cannot be used directly. Please let me know whether we have any custom solution to achieve this requirement.
