The other thing was that telemetry wasn't disabled. I changed these settings in apps/splunk_instrumentation/local/telemetry.conf and now I don't have a login delay any more. sendAnonymizedUsage = false sendAnonymizedWebAnalytics = false sendLicenseUsage = True sendSupportUsage = false
