Dear Splunk Community,
Previously I have completed Splunk Fundamentals Part I. I have added this to the "Licenses and Certificates" section on LinkedIn. Splunk Fundamentals Part II no longer exists, instead, there are multiple single subject courses you can complete. Specific subcourses "related" to the old Fundamentals Part II. Meaning that Fundamentals Part II is replaced by a handful of subcourses.
After completing all the subcourses I'll have different "proof of completing" files. In LinkedIn I can add all these subcourses but I would prefer just adding Fundamentals Part II, to make it less "messy". Even though officially I never completed Fundamentals Part II ( and will never be able to ) can I say I have completed it if I have completed all the subcourses that replaced Part II?
Thanks in advance.
Also, remeber that completing the course doesn't make you certified. You get a course compltion badge but in order to be a certified user/power user/advanced power user you also need to pass an official exam proctored by PearsonVUE
You can say anything you like, but (IMO) it would be inaccurate to say you completed Fundamentals II if you didn't complete a course by that name.
