Kicking things off with Splunk University
Brought to you by Splunk Education, Splunk University has become the precursor to .conf24 and a way to get attendees wondering just what’s possible with Splunk. This year, we offered 17 Splunk University 1-, 2-, and 3-day bootcamps designed to train students to be more proficient using Splunk. We are happy to report that almost 1,200 students walked away with more skills and hands-on experience – not to mention a limited-edition long-sleeve Splunk University t-shirt! Consider attending next year to round out your Splunk skills and experience or to get a taste of what Splunk Education offers all year round.
Splunk Certification pop-up testing center
Did you know that Splunk users who are Splunk Certified are 2.3 times more likely to be promoted than their non-certified peers? It’s true, which is why each year we offer an on-site exam center with discounts on all of our Splunk Certifications. This year, the center was buzzing with activity as curious learners asked questions, got registered on the spot, and passed their exams. The results were impressive with the team administering almost 900 exams. Then, we celebrated everyone’s hard work with the “Bragging Rights Spotlight” networking event to show our appreciation, generate more curiosity throughout the conference, and foster more community collaboration. Getting to know the community in the Source=*Pavilion
We were thrilled to meet almost 700 of our community members at The Education Station in the Source=*Pavilion where we shared information about Learning Paths, Splunk Certification, Splunk Academic Alliance, our Authorized Learning Partner program, and Cisco Learning and Certification. We hope you had a chance to stop by, leave us a wish on our Knowledge Tree, grab a few sustainable giveaways, and have your picture taken in our Splunk Education Show Photo Cube. It was such a blast! Hands on learning with Hands on Labs
Even if you weren’t able to attend one of our bootcamps, we brought Splunk University into the .conf24 experience with 14 unique Hands on Lab sessions, allowing participants to dive deeper into Splunk capabilities. These labs were supported by experienced Splunk Education instructors and proctors who set up a use case and guided learners through the best approach to using Splunk to solve them. If you were heads down at work and could not join us onsite at .conf24, there are still opportunities to capture the vibe! The Splunk Global Broadcast featured dozens of learning sessions including three that were dedicated to Splunk Education and how it can support your career – through skills advancement or by helping you ensure that Splunk is optimized for your enterprise.
