Splunk Search

"No results found. Try..." error only within my desktop

Hi everyone,
When searching index=myservice on anywhere except my desktop I can see all results. But within my desktop, using the same search query I get "No results found. Try expanding the time range."

I've cleanup cache, history, cookies, changed profile, browser(ff and chrome) and even thou the message is the same. No console errors nor network blockages...

My desktop is a Gentoo GNU/Linux , running Firefox 60.1.0esr and Google-chrome 67.0.3396.99.

Just reinforcing, using the same user, same search query in another computer(even VM inside my desktop) I can see results.

I forgot to mention, I see no results after 21 June, before everything works as expected.

Thanks in advance

@guimaluf,

  • Check Timezone of your desktop and time settings in the browser
  • Recheck URL
  • Try accessing index=myservice for ALL time range and check if you get some errors

Is your VM inside the desktop is also Gentoo? Just trying to isolate the problem, do you have any other system which is on Gentoo and can you try on that ?

Sorry, I didn't get notification about your answer.

I still have this problem.
Splunk is running in a production environment, outside my own desktop.
