Popup window from drilldown link

Hi,
I have a summary dashboard with drilldown links and once the user clicks on the link, the page is redirected to a new page. Is there a way to show the link in a popup window by adding options in the xml below:

 drilldown
      link
         /app/dashboard_examples/form_table2?form.sourcetype=$row.sourcetype$
       /link
     /drilldown

Thanks in advance!

No, there is not anything built-in to do what you ask. Here are the details from the Splunk XML documentation about what can be specified in target

Corresponds to the target attribute of the <a> HTTP tag.
Specify "_blank" to open the drilldown in a new window.
Specify "_self" to open the drilldown in the same window.
Specify an arbitrary string to open the drilldown in a new window. Subsequent references to this target open in this window.

Even basic HTML doesn't support such a simple mechanism. In general you have to write some script code, Javascript in case of Splunk, to generate the popup window frame and then set the window location accordingly.
