Hi, I am new in splunk and I would like to search for some info in my Logfile.

I am just trying to count the total of pages from each ip/host.

For some reason I can't make it to work.
Thanks for helping :slightly_smiling_face:

There isn't much information to go on in your description. Assuming:

  1. You are talking Web access logs
  2. You have the dest_ip field (the user's machine that is accessing the page) for each entry extracted
  3. Your search results in only web pages and not the javascript, image or css files

Try:

<your search> | stats count by dest_ip | sort - count
