Is there a way to identify when we are getting close to jobs concurrency limits?

Is there a way to identify when we are getting close to the concurrency limits? we know that there are error messages when the limit is being hit but we would like to know how close and based on that we can make changes to the srchJobsQuota and maybe cumulativeSrchJobsQuota.

The Monitoring Console has a dashboard (Search->Search Activity: Instance) that shows where you stand compare to your concurrency limit. You should be able to copy that search into an alert to notify you when you get close to the limit.
