I added an alias field named event_type from the Splunk settings page, but I cannot find the new alias field in the search results.
event_type = source_type
I have not set any private permissions for the field I have created.
Browser & server caching can prevent newly created search objects from appearing immediately. I would log out & log back in and see if it appears then.
Still not showing up in the interesting fields and selected fields.
