Filter events based on the time range(day of week) on a lookup table

Hi, I am trying to filter events based on a lookup table with a time range. My lookup table looks like this: 

startDay	startTime	endDay	endTime
Saturday	20:00	Tuesday	08:00

With this lookup, it should remove all events from Saturday 8PM until Tuesday 8AM. How do i create this query

Does Saturday / Tuesday refers to any specific dates or irrespective of date, if _time falls between any Saturday 8pm - Tuesday 8am then eliminate those events?
