DNS logs showing IP addresses and not DNS names. - Splunk Community

Splunk Search

My DNS is now only showing IP addresses in the logs. How do I get to see DNS names in the logs?

Since it's the responsibility of DNS to convert IP addresses into DNS names, any failure to do so must be a failure of the DNS. Check there.
