Configuring intel_rdt for collectd

Hi there,

I'm new to collectd and have really been struggling with the documentation and finding necessary files. I'm trying to use collectd to pull Memory Bandwidth data through the intel_rdt plugin. I use yum as my package manager here. Things I've done to get this working include:

  1. run: yum install collectd
  2. edited my configuration (collectd.conf) file as such:

    Interval 60
    FQDNLookup false

    LoadPlugin logfile
    LoadPlugin intel_rdt
    LoadPlugin csv

    <Plugin "logfile">
      LogLevel "info"
      File "/var/log/collectd.log"
      Timestamp true
    </Plugin>

    <Plugin "intel_rdt">
      Cores ""
    </Plugin>

    <Plugin "csv">
      DataDir "/var/lib/collectd/csv"
      StoreRates true
    </Plugin>

  3. run: yum install intel-cmt-cat, the only dependency for the collectd intel_rdt plugin

  4. run service collectd start

However, this results in the following error in the log: owing error in the log:
Found a configuration for the intel_rdt plugin, but the plugin isn't loaded or didn't register a configuration callback.

And the following error when I run collectd:
Could not find plugin "intel_rdt" in /usr/lib64/collectd

Are there any steps I'm missing? Can I find intel_rdt.so anywhere online? How can I make collectd recognize intel-cmt-cat is installed? I also can't run ./configure (as much of the documentation says to run) because I can't find the correct place to run it with my yum installation. Any help would be appreciated!
