After a user searches and selects an event, how to send the user to a URL web page with the data from the event in the URL?

Hi,

My scenario is the following: I want the user to be able to, after doing a search and selecting an event, be able to right click and click on an option (or click on a button on the panel) that sends the user to a URL web page with data from the event in the URL. Is this currently possible? If so, may I please have some direction on where to start? I am okay with writing my own app or script to do this.
