Upgrade to JQuery 3.5 in Splunk 8.1 and lower

Hi Fellow Splunk Devs,

Given the recent news regarding the new JQuery Version 3.5 being added to the Splunk 8.2 release package. 

I just have a question for the lower versions of Splunk (8.1 and lower). Would it be possible to use JQuery 3.5 on my dashboards? If yes, may I ask for the possible ways to perform it?
