Stop all-time searches from running

Hi there,

How can I stop all-time searches from running in the environment either via users or dashboards? Running 7.3.3 so cant take advantage of WLM monitoring yet. Can this be done with search restrictions and roles, in the sense that the search just wont run?

Thanks!

Go to Settings->User Interface->Time Ranges and disable the "all_time" items. That will prevent users from selecting "All Time" from the time picker.

Thanks, although im more looking for a setting that would terminate an all-time search from running in the first place, or just not run at all.

For that you need workload management, in 8.0.
